Ed and his wife Carolyn committed their lives to serving Jesus Christ and were baptized in their teen years.  They met at Texas Tech University and were married in 1973.
Throughout their marriage, they have continually been active servants in the Church, serving in a variety of ways.  Ed’s Petroleum Engineering degree provided opportunities in congregations in Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska; and, internationally in Argentina and Tunisia.  Ed served as a Deacon and as a Shepherd in several congregations and taught Bible classes in their home and in congregational assemblies in each place they have lived.  Ed and Carolyn have served in the Church of Christ in Hempstead since 2013.
They have three adult children and four grandchildren who love the Lord and are in active Christian fellowship.
