Larry and his family moved to Hempstead in 1972 at fourteen, and during his high school years, he was baptized into Christ.
Larry and his wife Cheryl were high school sweethearts and married in 1979 after Cheryl graduated high school. They started a family in 1980 and have two children and four grandchildren. While attending and serving in a local church as a young family, they were involved with youth programs, such as the Royal Rangers and the foster families of Waller County. Larry was active with the Christian Motorcycle Association ministries and participated in the “Stand in the Gap” ride to DC for Promise Keepers.
They became members of the Hempstead Church of Christ in 2000 and feel humbly blessed to serve.
